Step 1. The first thing you need to do is obtain a copy of your credit report.

Click Here to order your credit report through www.creditchecktotal.com for $1. You will have access to the three major credit reporting agencies, plus your three scores. This is what I used. (Recommended)
Step 2. Click Here to learn how to read your report and identify any derogatory accounts they will say collection account, past due, assigned to attorney, bad debt or placed for collection.
Step 3. Click Here to start using your interactive assistant.
Step 4. Click Here to learn how to send a personally customized “Validation of Debt” letter. They have 30 days to respond to your request. You will receive an email telling you how to proceed with the next step.
Step 5. Click Here to learn how to organize your files and send certified mail.
Step 6. Click Here to learn how to dispute the derogatory accounts with the Credit Reporting Agencies. They have 30 days to respond to your request. You will receive an email telling you how to proceed with the next step.
Step 7. Click Here to learn how to contact your creditors to demand the derogatory, unverified accounts be removed from your credit report. This will be sent to anyone who has (a) not responded to your request, or (b) did respond but not appropriately -meaning they just simply replied that the debt is valid without providing all of the validation requests made in the letter. They have 20 days to respond to your request. You will receive an email telling you how to proceed with the next step.
